01Who we are
Codexaon is a technology training and internships provider with centres in Bengaluru (headquarters), Salem, Chennai and Hyderabad. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
For any privacy request, write to gopi@codexaon.com.
02Information you give us
We collect only what you choose to send us. Depending on how you contact us, that may include:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your college or university, course, year of study and city;
- your applicant account, internship track, assessment attempts and eligibility results;
- the program, internship, voucher or partnership you are interested in;
- your resume, portfolio or LinkedIn link, and any message you attach;
- for grievances: the program or service involved and any transaction or reference details you include.
Our website forms save the details you enter so our team can respond. Please keep your messages limited to what we need; do not send ID documents, card numbers, or any password, PIN, OTP or authentication code.
03Information collected automatically
When you browse the website, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and timestamps. We use this to keep the website secure and available and to understand roughly which pages are used.
We do not build a behavioural profile of you and we do not sell this data.
05How we use your information
- to answer your enquiry, booking or application and to send the information you asked for;
- to run your batch: attendance, materials, mentor check-ins, assessments and certificates;
- to maintain your applicant account, registration status, completion review, certificate request and verification record;
- to arrange an internship referral or a certification voucher you have requested;
- to send batch, program and certification updates to people who have asked us about them;
- to investigate and respond to a complaint or grievance;
- to meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
07How long we keep it
Enquiry and application records are kept while the relevant conversation, batch or internship remains live and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can support you and answer questions. Financial records are kept as long as Indian law requires.
Issued certificates retain the learner name, track, issue date and certificate number so the credential can be verified. Public verification does not display contact details, assessment answers or payment information.
Information we no longer need, or that you have asked us to remove, is deleted from active systems.
08Your choices and rights
You can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete it, or stop contacting you about programs and updates. Unsubscribe from a newsletter at any time by replying to one of our emails.
Email gopi@codexaon.com with your request. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before we action it, and we will explain any limit on what we can do.
09DPDP privacy requests
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its supporting framework are being brought into force in stages. Codexaon accepts the requests described below as part of our privacy process now. Any statutory right or obligation will apply according to the provisions in force when we receive your request.
You may ask for information about personal data we process, correction or completion of your details, erasure of data that is no longer needed, or withdrawal of consent for future processing where consent is the basis for that processing.
To make a request, email gopi@codexaon.com from the email address connected with your Codexaon enquiry or enrolment where possible. State your name, the relevant program or service, the type of request and enough detail for us to locate the information. Do not send passwords, OTPs, payment credentials or identity documents by ordinary email.
We may ask for reasonable information to verify that the request relates to you. Some information may need to be retained where applicable law, financial record-keeping, an ongoing dispute or another lawful requirement permits or requires it. We will explain any limitation that applies.
- Access: ask what personal data we process about you and how it is used;
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete information that is incomplete;
- Erasure: ask us to delete personal data that is no longer required, subject to applicable obligations;
- Consent: withdraw consent for future processing where our processing depends on your consent;
- Grievance: raise a concern about how Codexaon handled your personal data or privacy request.
For a privacy grievance, use the subject “Privacy grievance” when emailing gopi@codexaon.com. Our Contact & Grievance page provides a ready-to-use request format. Further escalation will be available as provided by the law in force at that time.
10How we protect it
Access to learner information is limited to the people who need it to deliver your program. Our email and hosting services apply transport and storage protections, and we do not store passwords or payment credentials on this website.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your information and requires notification, we will contact you and follow applicable law.
11Students and younger learners
Many of our learners are college students. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to read this policy with you before sending us your details, and have them confirm they are happy for us to contact you.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The version on this page, with its effective date, is the one that applies.
