Internship Terms

These terms apply when you ask Codexaon for internship support, whether through a program, a campus partnership or an open application.

Effective date: 15 January 2026 Ask a question
  1. 01What internship support is

    Codexaon helps you become internship-ready and get in front of real opportunities. Depending on your letter, that can include profile and resume review, a shortlist of openings, applications and referrals, mentor check-ins, project guidance, and interview preparation.

    The format, duration and reporting expectations of your internship are set by the host organisation's own letter or offer. Read that document first; it governs the day-to-day work.

  2. 02What we do not guarantee

    Internship support is not a job guarantee. Offers depend on live openings, your eligibility, and how you perform in the host's screening and interviews.

    We cannot promise a particular company, location, start date, stipend, duration, conversion to full-time employment, or any particular outcome.

    If a third party asks you to pay for an internship placement, that is not Codexaon. Report it to gopi@codexaon.com.

  3. 03Applying

    You must give accurate information about your course, year, skills, availability and work history, and keep it current. Submitting false or misleading information, or work that is not yours, can end the support.

    Where a host requires documents (consent letters, college NOCs, ID proofs), send them only through the channel the host specifies. Never send passwords, PINs, OTPs or authentication codes.

  4. 04During the internship

    You represent Codexaon as well as yourself. You agree to:

    • attend as agreed, and tell your mentor and your supervisor early if you cannot;
    • meet deadlines, take feedback, and keep a simple record of what you worked on;
    • keep the host's code, data, customers and internal information confidential, during and after the internship;
    • not copy work into your portfolio or publication without the host's written permission;
    • not install unlicensed software or share credentials or access keys;
    • raise a concern with your mentor if something feels wrong, including harassment or unsafe conditions.
  5. 05Who owns the work

    Work you produce for a host organisation usually belongs to that organisation under the terms of your internship letter. Work you produced before the internship, and general knowledge and techniques you learned on a Codexaon program, remain yours to use.

    Ask your mentor before publishing a project that was built on a host's data or systems.

  6. 06Stipends and expenses

    Where an internship is paid, the amount, timing and taxes are decided by the host and its own policy, and Codexaon does not set or pay them unless a written agreement says so.

    Unpaid internships are identified before you accept, so you can decide with full information.

  7. 07Your status

    Unless a host's letter says otherwise, an internship is not employment with Codexaon. We are not your employer, we do not deduct tax for a host, and we are not a party to the internship agreement you sign with them.

    Insurance, safety and grievance procedures for the day-to-day workplace follow the host's policy.

  8. 08Evaluation and certificates

    Passing the MCQ assessment confirms eligibility to proceed with the internship. It does not mean the internship is complete and does not issue a certificate.

    A Codexaon internship certificate or a reference is issued when you have completed the agreed duration and deliverables and your mentor can confirm your conduct. Incomplete internships, or internships ended for a conduct reason, may not qualify.

    For the free one-month program, a ₹49 certificate issuance fee applies only after successful completion. Issuance follows completion verification, submission of the certification request and payment confirmation.

    Where the host issues its own completion letter or experience certificate, that comes from them and follows their process.

  9. 09Ending the internship

    You may withdraw by notifying your mentor and the host in writing, with the notice your internship letter asks for. Either party may end an internship for a serious conduct or performance reason.

    We may stop providing support where information was inaccurate, where you are unreachable for an extended period, or where continuing would be inappropriate.

  10. 10Problems and grievances

    Raise a concern with your mentor first. If it is not resolved, or it involves a Codexaon staff member, email gopi@codexaon.com with the details listed on our Contact & Grievance page and we will review it and respond through the contact details you give us.

  11. 11Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka having jurisdiction. They do not override any rights you have under applicable labour or student protection law.
